The autumn upon us early this year.
And what better is an autumn day with a clear sky, a nice stroll and a good friend on guitar?

After breakfast we decided to head down to Hornstull (Stockholm's SoHo) to grab a pint and listen to the mighty Anders Kahn who was playing at Texas Longhorn. I think he did all of our every requests and a hundred more.
This was truly a quality Saturday afternoon.

Inaugural

Last night we decided to try out the newly painted kitchen, just to see if it can handle the upcoming house-warming party.
With home-made mojito's, whisky and beer we did our best to put this room to a test.

I think we held out to about 3:30 this morning and the kitchen is still there so I feel confident it will hold the pressure of any upcoming party.

House of paint

As some of you know we recently moved to a bigger apartment and it only took us one week to unpack everything.

Today it was time to take on the kitchen with paint and putty. The apartment is really nice in total but I can't believe how the previous residents treated the walls. It's almost as if a meteorite hit some of the walls. Well, well it'll be perfect when we are finished.

Tonight you'll find me Djing at ROCKS in Stockholm.
They are celebrating 9 years as a club and I've been their almost every weekend since they started, which makes me pretty old ;-)

Anyways, I'm hoping for a super duper party tonight.

The Team

Today it got settled, me and DaKe will take a short trip down to Paris for a DJ gig around halloween. We are really looking forward to it and we promise that my blog will get yet another boost of decadent flavor.

So my account got inactivated. Extremely irritating since I have some friends on there that I don't know how to get hold of in other ways. But I have to admit that it's quite relieving as well.

The Cult

After a long day full of rollercoasting, cottoned candy, popcorn and waiting at Gröna Lund. I finally got to sit down with a pint at the 'blacklist' party and then watch The Cult on main stage. Amazing day so far.

Busy man

Busy man is a really good song by Billy Ray Cyrus but it's also what I've been up to this weekend. We've been moving from a smaller flat we're I have lived the last 8 years to a bigger apartment. My old apartment was on the 3rd floor without elevator and the new one is also on the 3rd floor without elevator. I can tell you that I could barely feel my legs yesterday after running up and down the stairs for two days straight. Well, well, time to get the stuff out of the boxes.

Yay me!

When I got home from DJing at Vampire Lounge last night I found this beauty standing in my livingroom. It was an early birthday gift from Jeanette. Finally I can cruise the streets of Stockholm with style.

Skinny Disco

Tonight I'm doing a guest appearance at the popular club Rododendron. So far I'm sticking to my disco roots so let's keep the party going.

Tivolirocken in Kristianstad

After a 6 hour drive we're finally in Kristianstad, ready to rock. This is the last show we know of this year so it is whith mixed feelings we enter the stage tonight. Of course it's gonna be fun but we'll see if we want to walk off the stage by free will.

Back on the scene of the crime

Appearantly I did something right last friday cause they wanted me back on the terrace of Gondolen.

Gathering

I started the day having a late lunch with the Tax Evasion Guy. Then we walked up to Mosebacke where we met up with some old friends. All of a sudden it seemed like everybody wanted to join in. Right now we are Deathstars, Opeth, Entombed, Morbid and Grotesque, plus hangarounds. Happy evening in Stockholm.

Upcoming DJ Gigs

Since I'm a restless man and eager to participate in any party going down I decided to book some DJ shows around Stockholm for the upcoming weeks. This is my schedule as it looks right now:






Friday 16th of July - Gondolen Terrace from 9 PM until 1 AM
Monday 26th of July - Vampire Lounge from 8 PM until 1 AM
Monday 9th of August - Vampire Lounge from 8 PM until 1 AM
Saturday 14th of August - ROCKS (9 year anniversary) from 10 PM until 3 AM

Mayhem at Getaway Rock Festival

Yesterday was an amazing night. Great festival, with great bands, great crowd and alot of both old and new friends. Happy Times!

Gondolen Calling

Tonight I'm DJ:ing on the terrace of Gondolen in Stockholm.
Gondolen is very famous for their exquisite kitchen, their outstanding cocktails and of course the best view over the Stockholm skyline.
If you're in the neighborhood feeling you need a drink and get the sightseeing over with at the same time, I really see no other option than come by and listen to some classics with me.

Yet another Vampire night

The Tax Evasion Guy called me and said he had to escape to Germany (my guess is Berlin). Anyway, it was his night to DJ down at Vampire Lounge but as the good friend I am I came for rescue even though I was enjoying my self in the sun at the Mosebacke Terrace. For your information, the picture was taken right before I started DJing and I'm not actually writing this blogpost myself. Hehe...

Skara Summerland

Me and the girls decided to take a short trip to one of Swedens most popular amusementparks called Skara Sommarland. When we arrived yesterday we had a very nice and sunny evening but also way too much mosquito fighting going on. Today we had some clouds and a little rain but out through the afternoon the sun came out and we used that opportunity to get wet.

Last couple of days has been great. Newcastle caught our attention as always just like Cat caught "crabs" on Tyne.
Glasgow was hot in every way the word describes it. Big thanks to SixxBitch, Oggbat & Co for bringing us Haggis and whiskey.
We're back in London right now waiting to board the plane.
A special thanks goes out to our fellow friends in SYBREED, you guys were amazing to tour with. Love you all!

Thank you Liverpool

Yesterday we had a great day. We joined up with our friends from Design 4 Life.
They did amazing tattoos on us and threw us a party.
Today we're back in Newcastle. Cat went out fishing today but only caught to crabs, he's gonna try his luck again after the show.
Our mate Dean also showed up with some drinkable gifts for us.

Lucky me

Thanks to Hazel at Design for Life in Liverpool I got a new tattoo. Time for soundcheck.

On the run

We are back on the bus heading for Liverpool. Thanks to David "DaKe" Isberg (ex Opeth) who stayed on the 7th floor of the SAS Radisson hotel we got this nice shot of us leaving Birmingham. Big kudos to DaKe for all the help we got these days.
