Paris by night

We had a good start in Paris yesterday. Sven came to pick us up at the airport and took us to the hotel.
A few hours later we went to the party district down in Bastille for some food. After filling our stomachs with french specialties we headed down to Seine for a big party on the boat Atlantique Concorde. We met up with a lot of friends there and I feel today it was a good party.
Tonight is the big night. We are DJing at Les Crayéres des Montquartiers on Nuit Halloween

Last day of sun

On our way home we stopped by Alicante for a few hours. Me and the Tax Evasion guy climbed all the way up to Castilla de Santa Bàrbara and the view up here is beyond amazing. Now it's soon time to fly back to old cold Sweden.

Today we stopped by a guitar factory and I couldn't leave before I had a handbuilt flamenco guitar with me. One of the best guitars I have ever tried and now it's mine.

My favorite bar, my second home... my sanctuary.

From today Mosebacke Etablissement in Stockholm only have 6 more days to live.
After that the governmentally owned Swedish National Touring Theatre take over the business.
I have to let you know that we didn't have a chance to stay because of their mob-like tactics.

I started working there as a sound engineer 10 years ago, I've played there with several bands (including Deathstars), I managed a rock club called "Rabbit Fighter" in that venue for 7 years and some of my best memories are from there because of the staff, music and special vibe.

I know everything has it's time but it'll be with a heavy heart we walk out of there early Monday morning.
This last week will be maxed with secret live shows and great prices in the bar. I think I should bring my sleeping bag up there.

Pernilla Andersson Releaseparty

I passed by Clarion Sign Hotel where Pernilla had her release party for her new album called "Ö". She and Dregen were DJing as well and there was many well known faces. Time to get back to the VB.

Flashback

I stumbeled into a Victoria Bitter event in a Stockholm bar today. And by the first sip I was back in the Sidney sandstorm. Really makes me wish that was reality.

White Wedding

Our friends Lotta & Mats got married today and it was an absolutely lovely ceremony and party. Let's take it to another level. I also heard Jussi 69 is in town so we might pop down to ROCKS for a drink if we survive this;-)

The autumn upon us early this year.
And what better is an autumn day with a clear sky, a nice stroll and a good friend on guitar?

After breakfast we decided to head down to Hornstull (Stockholm's SoHo) to grab a pint and listen to the mighty Anders Kahn who was playing at Texas Longhorn. I think he did all of our every requests and a hundred more.
This was truly a quality Saturday afternoon.

Inaugural

Last night we decided to try out the newly painted kitchen, just to see if it can handle the upcoming house-warming party.
With home-made mojito's, whisky and beer we did our best to put this room to a test.

I think we held out to about 3:30 this morning and the kitchen is still there so I feel confident it will hold the pressure of any upcoming party.

House of paint

As some of you know we recently moved to a bigger apartment and it only took us one week to unpack everything.

Today it was time to take on the kitchen with paint and putty. The apartment is really nice in total but I can't believe how the previous residents treated the walls. It's almost as if a meteorite hit some of the walls. Well, well it'll be perfect when we are finished.

Tonight you'll find me Djing at ROCKS in Stockholm.
They are celebrating 9 years as a club and I've been their almost every weekend since they started, which makes me pretty old ;-)

Anyways, I'm hoping for a super duper party tonight.

The Team

Today it got settled, me and DaKe will take a short trip down to Paris for a DJ gig around halloween. We are really looking forward to it and we promise that my blog will get yet another boost of decadent flavor.

So my account got inactivated. Extremely irritating since I have some friends on there that I don't know how to get hold of in other ways. But I have to admit that it's quite relieving as well.

The Cult

After a long day full of rollercoasting, cottoned candy, popcorn and waiting at Gröna Lund. I finally got to sit down with a pint at the 'blacklist' party and then watch The Cult on main stage. Amazing day so far.

Busy man

Busy man is a really good song by Billy Ray Cyrus but it's also what I've been up to this weekend. We've been moving from a smaller flat we're I have lived the last 8 years to a bigger apartment. My old apartment was on the 3rd floor without elevator and the new one is also on the 3rd floor without elevator. I can tell you that I could barely feel my legs yesterday after running up and down the stairs for two days straight. Well, well, time to get the stuff out of the boxes.

When I got home from DJing at Vampire Lounge last night I found this beauty standing in my livingroom. It was an early birthday gift from Jeanette. Finally I can cruise the streets of Stockholm with style.

Skinny Disco

Tonight I'm doing a guest appearance at the popular club Rododendron. So far I'm sticking to my disco roots so let's keep the party going.

Tivolirocken in Kristianstad

After a 6 hour drive we're finally in Kristianstad, ready to rock. This is the last show we know of this year so it is whith mixed feelings we enter the stage tonight. Of course it's gonna be fun but we'll see if we want to walk off the stage by free will.
