Boys toys

Trash Fest is over and I had the most amazing time with all my new friends. I even popped the cherry as I did my first ever live performance with the All Stars band.
Yesterday we had an all American barbecue featuring a beer-bong and a 6 foot inflatable penis. And that was just right up the Smyrna-boys alley as you can see.

Settled in Philly

We finally arrived at the Legendary Dobbs for tonight's Trash Fest madness.

SMYRNA

Yesterday we went to the Christiana Mall for some shopping. And I gotta say that air conditioning is a very nice invention on days when it's over 100 F.
In the evening we were invited home to Grandma Trash for a proper italian dinner which was absolutely amazing.

US Entry

So I finally made it to Philadelphia. I got held up at the customs for 2 hours by a very suspicious homeland security officer who thought my purpose of the trip was very strange. She went through my bags more than once and everything went very slow.
But I finally made it out to the land of the free and got picked up to be driven home to the Mama Trash house. We had a nice dinner and a lot of drinks with the gang.

I also found a really cool widget for musicians. If you have problems with persistent fans that will say. Haha!

Killing time in Paris

Bye, bye Stockholm!

It's 4:30 in the morning and I'm on my way out to the airport.
I have a transfer in Paris where I get to wait 4 hours. But then finally I'll be in Philadelphia 4:05 AM local time... hopefully.

TFUS! Only 4 days left

On Wednesday morning it's time for me to leave Sweden for 2 weeks.
First stop is of course Philadelphia, PA for Trash Fest US where I'll be hosting, DJing and playing in the All Star band. If you still haven't got your tickets, get them HERE.

When I'm done in Philly I'll fly across the country to San Francisco to meet up with the other guys in VAIN. Hopefully we'll have time for some recordings of various kind while I'm there.

Sonisphere Stockholm!

The festival was amazing this year. I didn't get to see all the bands but I really enjoyed Kvelertak, Mastodon, Airbourne and Mustasch. 

 It was a lot of fun DJing both outdoors during the day and at the after party with Hubbe (8-ball) and Ryan Roxie (Alice Cooper), such an amazing crowd.

DJ marathon at Sonisphere

On Saturday I'll be doing two DJ sets at Sonisphere here in Stockholm.

During the day you'll find me inside the "Norrlands Guld" beer-tent in front of the Saturn stage.

At 10 PM I'm moving in to Globen-Annexet where the afterparty is held.

That's a total of 15 hours.

Here I'm sitting at coolest country-music/steakhouse in Stockholm with my work-related injury in my forehead. But it's time to start moving out to Gröna Lund where Alice Cooper is playing tonight.

Peace & Love

We just came home from the Peace & Love festival in Borlänge, Sweden.
We've had a great time and everybody took such good care of us.

I managed to see a few bands and the afterparty was merciless.

After band practice Cat took me to see his new house. He's moving in next week and I envy him.

I'm a schmuck!

I'm on my way to Karlstad (Cat-Town) for band practice with VAIN. As we're playing Peace & Love festival on Saturday.

But as the idiot I am, I missed the bus as a result from sitting by the wrong gate. Busses should come to me not the opposite.
Well, well I found a way to kill time before the next bus leaves.

We're heading out to my dad who lives a couple of hours outside of Stockholm to eat pickled herring and drink way to much spiced schnapps.
