Brad Paisley at Circus

I know you're probably sick and tired of my obsession with country music but I just gotta post something for myself.

I've been waiting for this concert since we got the tickets in April and I haven't been looking forward to something this much in a very long time. 

Darius Rucker (ex-Hootie and the Blowfish) opened up the night with a great set. He's got such an amazing voice and really included the whole crowd.

When Brad entered the stage he just took it to the climax immediately. For two hours I stood paralyzed, singing along and I just never wanted it to end.

Since I started playing pedal steel a few years back I was very glad to get the chance and hang out with Brad's steelplayer Randle Currie. He gave me a lot of good tips and tricks and I hope to see all the guys soon again.

Deathstars rehearsal

Today was the second day of rehearsal in a long time. It feels great to be back on track.

Yet another vacation has come to an end.
A big thank you to the Ersdal family for making the stay once again rememberable and amazing.

Today we were checking out Lysefjorden, Sogndal and Egersund. The Norwegian landscapes feels infinite and is still one of the most beautiful places I've seen.

Skalldyr Festivalen

Today we took a trip to visit the Seafood Festival in Mandal. Yet another day with fresh air, sun, shrimps and good beer.

I had a beautiful day in Stavanger today. I had fresh shrimps straight from the harbor with the local Tou beer. As the bloodhound I am, I also found my new favorite Belgian beer. No surprise here, it's called SATAN. 8% of lovely alcohol.

We're getting ready to leave Flekkefjord for 2 days in the metropole known as Stavanger. And for that I make myself extra pretty with more color to my hair.

After breakfast we took the boat out for a little drive around the fjords. Since I'm raised on the water this is proper quality time for me.

It takes a lot of work being me

So now after two braincell killing weeks I'm on my way home again. I've had so much fun that I don't think I can realize what actually happened just yet.

I would especially like to thank Jo Sheldon with family, my good fried Davy Vain and Katrina for taking such good care of me.

The most unfortunate thing on this trip was that people didn't get my text messages as they should, which resulted in that I didn't get to see everybody.

I made it from San Francisco to Philly now but I still have 15 hours left of traveling. Philadelphia to Paris and Paris to Stockholm.
Jet-lag here I come!

Last night in Hollywood

It was Crüe Fest at The Whiskey a Go Go and we were specially invited. Had such a great time meeting up with Steven Adler (Guns n' Roses), Chip (Enuff Z'Nuff) and Stacey (LA Guns). I'm gonna miss everybody so bad as we go back home. At least I get one more day in San Francisco tomorrow.

Right now we're taking the whole Hollywood Boulevard in and tonight we'll try and make out to Crüe Fest at Whiskey a Go Go.

Birthday Bash

Me and Davy had a great day rumbling the streets of Melrose and Beverly Hills. 

We had a fantastic steak at the Rainbow and everybody sang happy birthday for me. 

Now we're hanging out in the upstairs bar with Snake (Skid Row), Pauley Perrette (Abby in NCIS) and a lot of other nice people.

I had to swing by my office down in Beverly Hills for some last minute decisions.

So my birthday started off really good with a healthy brunch and now we're ready to go sightseeing.

LA Night One

Me and Davy drove down to LA today and his sweet friend Kat was kind enough to lend her house to us for a few days. It's just a 10 minute walk from the Sunset Strip so we're already out feeling the vibe. Our first stop was Whiskey a Go Go where Dizzy from Guns n' Roses played. Now we're at the Rainbow where we met up with Davy's old friend Sebastian Bach from Skid Row. So for just a couple of hours in the city I'm sure we'll have a great time here.

World Famous Davy Vain Nature Tour

I had  another amazing day in the surroundings of San Francisco. We went out for some serious critter spotting and managed to find quite a lot of it. Everything from Vultures to Seals and small Snakes to Slugs. I got to see everything from the foggy valleys to the sunny beaches to the damp reptile spots and the fresh Red Wood forest.
