Thank you!!

Yesterday was one of the best nights in my life.

Me and my dad celebrated 90 years together at Mosebacke.

I was really glad to see all the friends and family that showed up. Some even traveled from Spain, Switzerland, UK and Norway to attend.

Vladan opened the night playing that Piano. After the dinner Frans Haraldsen broke the ice with his amazingly funny songs.

My very good friend Damon played a set of The Other Flesh songs with help from Vladan and Frasse.

One of my favorite artists, Douglas Unger finished off the livemusic with an amazing show.

I would like to thank everybody for all the wonderful gifts I got.

The biggest shock came when I was called up on stage to receive a beautiful upright bass. Some of my friends decided to collect enough to buy me this sexy black lady.

Who knows, maybe I'll take her onstage some day.

Cheating?

It's been about 1 and a half year since I quit smoking. But tonight after 6 hours on the beach, 1 hour at the Grand Hotel gym, one quick dip in the pool and a nice dinner. We sat down by the mainstreet with a waterpipe and a couple of beers to enjoy the rest of the evening.

Destination decided

We found out that it's Ramadan in Egypt so we decided to go to Hurgada to set our mind and body on trial.

My old friend Oscar is getting married on Saturday so I went out and bought a tuxedo. Looks nice huh?

Night occupation

Just found out that there are better things to do than sleeping during nights. Today I bought loads of paint, brushes and accessories to become a real post modern (death) artist.

Skinny & Torbjörn's 90 year anniversary at Mosebacke

Skinny has turned 30 and his dad is turning 60 = PARTY

Torbjörn Haugen was born on the 20th of December 1949 and 30 years later on the 29th of July so also his son Skinny Kangur.

This will be celebrated beyond recognition at Mosebacke Etablissement in Stockholm on the 12th of September from 9 PM.

Apart from the presence of the hosts there will also be top class live music and DJs.

Summer Breeze

Yesterday was a very good day. Since all our friends from Opeth, Grave, The Storm and other cool bandnames were playing, we had a great time hanging out in the backstage before the show.. Unfortunately we had to leave pretty much straight after the show because of the early flight today. Still a very good partyweekend.

Primal Scream

Yesterday I finally got to see Primal Scream. They gave us hits like Swastica Eyes, Movin' on Up, Jailbird and Rocks. GREAT!
It was also very good to see our old friend and companion Adrian Erlandsson who was playing with Brujeria this night.

After a quite hectic weekend with very little sleep we can finally go home and get some rest before next weekends escapades.

Since the show yesterday we've been traveling constantly to get to the festival today. We haven't slept more than an hour in the van. It's gonna be a very interesting show.

Today I recieved a very nice package from DHL. Thanks to Ali at Ibanez I got this sexy bass called Jet King. I'm thrilled to try it out tomorrow at Rocknights in Lithuania.

Today I was very happy to see my childhood friend Sonny. Actually I've known him since we were both 1 year old. You can see him in the back, 3rd from the left. He's playing today at Mosebacke with his lovely wife Miss Li. Happy, happy! Yay!

Pinball Heaven

Right now I'm at Ströman's place. This is truly the perfect playground for any man in his 30's. He's got 3 pinball games, metal coming out of the speakers and of course unlimited amount of beer. In other words... Perfect!

Hoffmaistro

Yes Hoffmaistro is probably one of my favorite livebands from Sweden. They had a lot better weather than us so I was glad to see the crowd going crazy for them... i'm not leaving you!

Champagne party

I said earlier that it wouldn't be any partying tonight. What I didn't consider was that DaKe ordered a champagne table at Gondolen. Let's see where this ends;-)

So now I'm 30

I've felt like 21 until now. So it came as a slight surprice today when I was told my correct age. Hmm... well, well I've always said that my prime age will be 37 which gives me a few years before the true anxiety begins.
There will not be a major party today, just a few glasses of bubble cause we have a show tomorrow. Also me and my dad has decided to throw a 90 year anniversary in a few weeks since he's turning 60 this year. I'll post some more info about that soon.

EMO

From the train I could just see a stop saying "Snartemo" which in swedish would be translated to Soon-EMO. Pretty funny.

Vacation has begun.

Jeanette, Lucky and me took the train to Oslo today where we're spending the night at Grand Hotel. Tomorrow we'll continue our trip inside Norway down to Flekkefjord.

Early birthdaygift

When I got home from our little trip I got a very nice surprice. Jeanette decided to give me my birthday gift a few weeks earlier since she's always having problem keeping secrets. The surprice from her mom, dad, brother and herself was a Fender Jaguar I've kept my eyes on for quite some time. Thank you all so much! Happier than ever:-)
